Your resume is the first thing your Staff Solutions consultant will see when you apply for a position - so it's important to have it looking professional and containing the most appropriate information to reflect your ability and experience.

Use a plain white background with a legible font (eg., Times Roman )

Don't worry about adding fancy pictures and frames - it's the content that counts!

Set out your resume in simple, easy-to-read formatting

Make sure your contact details and qualifications are correct

Make sure your employment history contains the company name, dates employed, your position title and your responsibilities

If possible, keep your resume to three pages in length

Don't forget to add any community or voluntary work you've done as well as your interests and hobbies
